THIS WEBPAGE IS A RECORD of my painting and drawing going on four decades. After earning an MFA in Painting at the Catholic University of America and then working in career fields that included both art teacher and illustrator, I am now retired and can devote more time to the making of art. Most of my completed work over this period has been included in this site. Anything not indicated as being in a collection remains for sale.
Image, paint, and space form the three-pronged focus of what I search for in painting. Achieving a balance with those co-equal forces - reconciling their inherent tensions - is as irresistable an undertaking as it is impossible. Here and there one finds glimmers of possiblilties.
